Specialist Program in Immunology

(13.5 full courses or their equivalents)

The Immunology Specialist Program is a Limited program. Only students with an average of 70% or higher in all of the required first-year courses and a minimum of 65% in each of these courses will be considered for entrance into the specialist program. Enrolment is limited and selection is based on performance in the following first-year required courses: BIO120, BIO130, CHM135, CHM136, MAT135 or their equivalents.

Students apply via ACORN:

Step 1: Submit a request on ACORN during the first application window only
Step 2: Check results of your request to see if the department has invited you to enrol in the Program
Step 3: Accept the invitation to enrol in your Program

Major Program in Immunology

Sponsored by the Department of Immunology, Faculty of Medicine, and Trinity College.

(8 full courses or their equivalents, including two 400-series courses)

The Immunology Major Program is a Limited program. Only students with an average of 70% or higher in all of the required first-year courses and a minimum of 60% in each of these courses will be considered for entrance into the major program. Enrolment is limited and selection is based on performance in the following first-year required courses: BIO120, BIO130, CHM135, CHM136. Students may combine the immunology major program with another major program within Science, Social Sciences, or Humanities.

Minor Program in Immunology

Sponsored by the Department of Immunology, Faculty of Medicine, and Trinity College.

(4 full courses or their equivalents)

The Immunology Minor Program is an Open program. Enrolment in this program requires the completion of the following first-year courses: BIO120H, BIO130H, CHM135H, CHM136H. Entrance into this program is not restricted.
