Students must secure a supervisor and complete this ballot by 5:00pm on August 30, 2024 in order to be enrolled.
This course provides an opportunity for students to conduct a research project under the supervision of a member of the Faculty. Students are expected to devote a minimum of seven hours per week to the course from the week the fall term lectures begin to the last week of the spring term. Research projects will involve experimental design and work, data analyses, literature reading etc.
This course requires a minimum of 7 hours per week of supervised work in the laboratory. The final grade will be based on the 1-page research project summary (4%), the supervisor's assessment (66% mid-term and final evaluation), a 10-minute presentation (10%) and a written report of your work (20%).
