Postdoctoral Program

Trinity College Courtyard

Welcome to the Immunology Postdoctoral program!

Postdoctoral fellows and research associates working in the lab of a faculty member with an appointment in the Department of Immunology at the University of Toronto are welcome to participate in our program.

To stay up to date on events and programs of interest to postdoctoral scientists, please register to be included in the postdoc email listserv here. We use this email list to communicate details of upcoming events as well as fellowship, teaching and job opportunities that may arise.

The goal of our program is to provide career development and networking opportunities for our postdoctoral researchers. Some of the highlights of our regular programming are a fall mixer (social event) and our annual Post doctoral/RA research day followed by the BD biosciences post-doctoral award lecture held in the spring.

In addition, there is a monthly postdoc/RA seminar series, currently organized by post-doctoral scientists Tapas Mukherjee and Saurav Roy Choudhury, which serves as an important resource for project feedback and connecting.

Other events such as grant writing workshops, career information sessions, and mock job interviews are organized on an ad hoc basis. Please reach out with any ideas for events you think will be of benefit to the community.

We look forward to seeing many of you at the Postdoc/RA events. On our web page you can also find information about post-doctoral fellowships and campus-based resources for postdoctoral fellows.

Best regards,
