Temerty Faculty of Medicine Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching in Life Sciences Award

This award recognizes excellence in teaching, coordination, and/or development of undergraduate lecture or seminar courses in Arts and Science offered by the Basic Science Departments in the Temerty Faculty of Medicine.

Temerty Faculty of Medicine Graduate Teaching Award: Mid-Career Excellence in Graduate Teaching and Mentorship

This specific award honours and celebrates the outstanding contributions to graduate education by a faculty member with a School of Graduate Studies appointment of 8-15 years. Candidates are nominated by their Graduate Unit through a student or recent graduate initiated process. Applications are reviewed and adjudicated by the Temerty Faculty of Medicine Graduate Awards Committee, consisting of faculty and graduate students.

Temerty Faculty of Medicine Graduate Teaching Award: Sustained Excellence in  Graduate Teaching and Mentorship

This specific award honours and celebrates the outstanding contributions to graduate education by a senior faculty member (i.e., > 15 years of their initial School of Graduate Studies membership). Candidates are nominated by their Graduate Unit through a student or recent graduate initiated process. Applications are reviewed and adjudicated by the Temerty Faculty of Medicine Graduate Awards Committee, consisting of faculty and graduate students.

This award recognizes an active faculty member who, over a minimum of a fifteen year period, has demonstrated excellence in graduate supervision at the University of Toronto.

This award recognizes sustained (between 8 to 15 years) contribution to graduate student mentorship, teaching and supervision.
