With Tania Watts, Associate Chair, Postdoctoral, and Dr. Nana Lee,  Director and Associate Professor, Teaching Stream of Graduate Professional Development (GPD) at Temerty Faculty of Medicine 

Dr. Nana Lee holds a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Toronto, a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Michigan and was a Visiting Scholar at MIT. Her roles in the biotechnology industry include Senior Research Scientist and Director of Application Science. She is currently Associate Professor, Teaching Stream & Director of Graduate Professional Development (GPD), Department of Biochemistry & Immunology at Temerty Faculty of Medicine (TFoM). Dr. Lee co-pioneered the implementation of curriculum-embedded GPD in 2012 as highlighted in Science Careers and its impact summarized in PLOS One in 2025. She expanded her scholarship during her sabbatical at Harvard Medical School and Stanford University in 2022-2023. Dr. Lee has given almost 200 workshops and talks to over 4000 learners around the world, received the 2022 Faculty of Medicine’s Excellence in Professional Values Award, and launched the second edition of her book “Success In Graduate School and Beyond” in Spring of 2024
